An earthquake that had been clearly visible building on Infra Red, measured as 7.7 Richter occuring north of Banda Aceh and South of the Andamans. An Ocean Wide tsunami alert was downgraded to just an India Coastal Watch within an hour or so.

Occuring not long after Sun and Moon set, the Indian Ridge 5.5 something of a warning from the day before. Luckily Thai scientists instituting evacuation alerts the day before, although ridicule following close on their heels. The report a little jumbled, with this New Moon's tidal crescendo not until wednesday 16/06 with eclipses every 15 days now into mid July. The newses slow to update with midnite Sunday morning in the Indian Ocean, but with a practically sea floor depth of a kilometre or so, I would think harbours will see some change in sea level.

The flag is from Sri Lanka. Ridges in the sky, ridges on the earth, refracted Japanese styled sunset - I wouldnt have associated this flag with an earthquake area until I saw similar in UK skies for a few days prior to the Iceland volcano.
